What does Louisville need right now?

*A Spring Fling*

Ryan & Annie Anderson

darling couple, showcasing both the tenderness of their holy matrimony and their irresistibly charming harmonies. They serve as the beacon of hope for relationships far and wide, offering us all a vision of marital bliss and artistic fusion that will have all of our hearts melting. Ryan has been one of my absolute favorite musicians for years now and we are long overdue for a rootin tootin good time. Annie has been a fluttering through Ryan's recent sets and her tonal additions have been total treats. Here, you will find their candied collaboration in 2023's solstice soirée:

Scott T

former roommate, forever friend. This true magician of a musician could have us all swooning any way he chooses. I have personally had the honor of witnessing this guitar plucking cowpoke waddle back behind a drum kit, supporting sweet Daniel of So it Was, and rocking out the house. This has been my favorite glimpse of ol Scott T, which is why I've volunteered him to hold us all down with the rhythm of his heart.

january 29th, 2024, Triple TTT sent me this voice memo regarding the stage we've been dreaming up for some time now. When I consulted my dearest brother Jacob on this matter, asked if he thought I should launch this idea into the ether, he simply reminded me of this message I had shared with him a year ago, noting that the night had        "already been sung"

Jul¡a Estrada

Hamilton heart throb and certified cool kid. We ripped open the dance floor of Z Bar as La Lom drenched the place in cumbionic funk last month. We were the moment.

Her rendition of Fiddler on the Roof's Sunrise, Sunset delivered Oldham County-shaking revelry in November's past. It is with this glorious broadway songbird that our bellows will be sugared and maybe even sprinkled with some magia de español, helping us bridge the two languages that make up FOKO's magic corner of Logan + Kentucky.

Julia, our jewelia :

Fashion, Collar

which inspired the creation of this playlist

I have compiled a selection of swoon-worthy sonnets that I believe we could all tap into. Whether we come together and write new wonders into the world, or opt to create captivating covers, I think the neighborhood will be all the better for it.

I leave you all with my favorite piece of playful harmonic heaven I've discovered this year thus far:

Temptation, Muppet Glee Club.

This musical fusion has been fermenting in my bones and I would be overjoyed to share a collaboratively fantastical experience with you all.

I envision a playful rotation, a give and take, a jam band of sorts. So many winning combinations to be made. One of my favorites : A Tennesseean Trio. All femmes hail from just south of our KY border, which is too kismet to dismiss.

I round out this rock and rollodex with my own rendition of a school dance classic, drawing from the one and only Back to the Future .

I've been calling this makeshift band of greats

In The Name of Love

I am proposing we lead all honey-eyed Kentuckians through a night of dancing, twirling, smooching, swaying, giggling, and getting down, all in the name of love. There is a distinct type of magic that occurs when dancing to a live band. It fosters an expression entirely made up of the present moment, of the ever evolving vibe, of the love in the room. In December, The National Reserve rocked out Zanzabar with "music that makes you wanna kiss," and I've been deeply inspired by this notion ever since. I would love to come together with my most cherished artists and spontaneously pour our hearts into some groovy tunes for everyone to groove to.
Let me introduce the line up:
